Kaylin Butler
- BSA Vice President

What is your career goal?
My current career goal is to become a global health foreign service officer for the United States Agency for International Development. I would also like to work closely with the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance. Upon completing my five-year service obligation, I plan to attend medical school and practice family medicine.
Why are you inspired by BSA and diversity in international affairs?
BSA has persevered to remain a safe space for black people and people of color since we were founded in 2018. Regardless of the numbers in representation, our executive board and new members continue to actively support this organization. I believe this is an accurate reflection of how the international affairs field has begun to change its representation over the years just by people of color showing up and being great at what they do. I am inspired by my organization and adding to the diversity in international affairs because representation matters.
