The School of International Affairs is deeply committed to being a welcoming and inclusive environment for every member of our community and combating bias and inequality wherever it exists. Our DEI Action Steps and Bias Complaint Process are examples of this commitment, but we know that the work is not finished.
As a globally represented community of students, faculty, alumni, and staff, SIA has witnessed people of varied backgrounds come together to achieve extraordinary results. To continue to foster a diverse and equitable community, we must continue to listen to each other in a spirit of shared humanity while acknowledging that our life experiences may be different. We must learn from the past, seek to better understand each other, and come together to fulfill the highest aspirations for what our SIA family can be.
