What is your career goal?
To work in human rights and policy, possibly with an NGO or Non-profit Organization. I want to be in a position to support and advocate on behalf of others. Advocacy and understanding are my ultimate career goals, and I want to know how we can often bring people together through challenging circumstances.
Why are you inspired by BSA and diversity in international affairs?Diversity is an essential component of international affairs and relations. BSA has inspired me to be a better advocate and ally. Learning and development is an ongoing process in understanding the needs of underrepresented groups and minorities. I hope to listen and understand more within this amazing organization because it will help me be a better advocate. I believe in learning opportunities outside the classroom, and I have the chance to hear about international relations through the lens of my peers. These opportunities provide me with a perspective that I might not have otherwise considered, but it is valuable because experiences outside of my background create more in-depth conversations and dialogue. BSA inspires me to be more and seek out more solutions that help everyone.
