International Affairs Colloquium brings experts on Global issues to Penn State

Professor and U.S. Ambassador (Ret.) Dennis Jett, is bringing thought leaders on topics ranging from food security to terrorism to Penn State's School of International Affairs (SIA) as part of his Spring Colloquium which began on January 10 and continues throughout the semester. The program features 15 speakers.

"The problems adressed by our guests are transnational in nature and threaten global health and security," said Amb. Jett. "The speakers demonstrate how truly interconnected our world is and how policy development must take this into account."

For the first time since Amb. Jett began organizing the Colloquium in 2009, it will be held in the Executive Education Building's main classroom which is located next to the Nittany Lion Inn. There are a limited number of seats open to students not enrolled in SIA, faculty members, and the public. All of the presentations will take place from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
