Grad Cup builds camaraderie among SIA students

Students from the School of International Affairs participated in the first ever Penn State Graduate Cup, which took place on Saturday April 13th. SIA student Kory Hansen helped organize the event and explained that it is comprised of six activities that challenge the teams physically and mentally to promote teamwork, and have fun in the process. “While the SIA team was not able to bring the Grad Cup home to the Katz Building, we did very well and are the tug-of-war championship team,” he said adding that in addition to the team competitors SIA students turned out in force to cheer the team on. The events took place on the Katz Building lawn.

Scavenger Hunt:

Tug of War:

Three-legged race, hot lava, potato sack race, relay race and dodgeball:
Marcela Velez, Gouri Srinidhi, CJ Restemeyer, Michelle Sarver, Asthon Zylstra, Jin Ju Kim and Natalie Schreffler
