The United Nations: An overview of its work, its agencies and the hiring process

Said Maalouf, a United Nations Public Information Assistant, School of International Affairs graduate, Penn State graduate, and Fulbright Scholar, will speak on the United Nations: An overview of its work, its agencies, and the hiring process. Maalouf's talk will focus on the composition of the U.N., its history and structure as the headquarters of international diplomacy worldwide. He will also address current issues faced by the organization and its role in achieving development and peace, and the hiring process for U.N. job applicants.
