Join Brianna Buehler for a discussion of international health. This is part of the 2017 Spring Colloquium speaker series.
Brianna Smith joined the Africa Bureau at USAID as their Africa Regional HIV/AIDS Advisor, and she is still very involved in the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) program. Prior to joining USAID she worked with the PEPFAR program for about five years in various roles; as the Acting PEPFAR Coordinator in Uganda, Deputy PEPFAR Coordinator in Botswana, and as a Senior Country Lead and Multilateral Diplomacy Adviser in D.C. with the Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator. Just before attending SIA and receiving a master degree, she served in the Peace Corps in Butha-Buthe, Lesotho.
