Spring 2017 Colloquium: Climate Change

Dr. Richard Alley, the Evan Pugh Professor in the Penn State Department of Geosciences at the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, will speak about climate change and its current policy challenges on Thursday, February 23rd from 2:30 – 3:45 p.m. in 012 Katz during the SIA/CGS Spring Colloquium series. Alley has authored more than 170 refereed scientific publications about the relationships between Earth's cryosphere and global climate change. Alley testified about climate change before the U.S. House Committee on Science and Technology in 2007 and again in 2010.
