Chris Loewald, head of policy development and research at the South African Reserve Bank, will present "Emerging market macroeconomic policy formulation in the face of global volatility: the case of South Africa" on Monday, April 18th from 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. in 116 Katz as part of the SIA Seminar Series. Loewald joined the Bank in 2011 following a lengthy career in the National Treasury where he worked on Macroeconomic, Fiscal, International Economic and Growth policy, and became the Deputy Director General for Economic Policy in 2006. He was educated at Middlebury College and Johns Hopkins University. This event is free and open to the public.
