George Beebe, vice president and director of studies at the center for the National Interest, will speak about Russia and the New Authoritarian Challenge. This presentation will take place on Thursday, April 16th at 4:15 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. in 012 Katz. Beebe's areas of expertise include cyber security, arms control, conflict resolution, analytic methodology, Russia/Eurasia, and European Security. He is also the author of the book, The Russia Trap: How Our Shadow War with Russia Could Spiral into Catastrophe, which was published by Thomas Dunne Book, an imprint of St. Martin’s Press, in 2019.
