Dr. Seth Blumsack, Professor of Energy Policy, Economics, and International Affairs at Penn State, will speak about energy policy and climate change. This presentation will take place on Thursday, February 6th at 4:15 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. in 012 Katz. Dr. Blumsack's work focuses on policy-relevant engineering, and environmental and economic research for the energy, electric power, and transportation industries. He has also authored or co-authored more than sixty scientific and policy articles and book chapters. His work on restructured electricity markets has been cited in the New York Times and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and his writing for the Energy Market Report on California’s energy crisis has been cited in the Los Angeles Times as well as in The Smartest Guys in the Room.
