Dr. Johannes Fedderke, Professor of International Affairs and African Studies at Penn State, will speak about "Economics Inequality — The Case of South Africa". This presentation will take place on Thursday, February 27th at 4:15 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. in 012 Katz. Dr. Fedderke's research focuses on the determinants of economic growth, with a special interest in the role of institutions in long-run economic development. His published work includes empirical and theoretical contributions, and has provided cross-country, panel and country-specific time-series evidence on the interaction of growth and institutions.
