Dr. Herbert Wolfe currently serves as the Director and Acting Chief of Staff of the Office of the Chief Medical Officer at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Professor of Practice for International Affairs at Penn State. He will speak about transnational disease outbreaks. This presentation will take place on Thursday, February 13th at 4:15 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. in 012 Katz. Dr. Wolfe has previously served as the director for medical preparedness policy at the White House National Security Council and as a scientist at the Central Intelligence Agency. He is an expert on national security, global health, and biodefense.
