Admiral David Titley, U.S. Navy, Professor of International Affairs and Director of Center for Solutions to Weather and Climate Risk at Penn State, will speak about climate change and security. This presentation will take place on Thursday, January 30th from 4:15 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. in 012 Katz. Dr. Titley served as a naval officer for 32 years and rose to the rank of Rear Admiral. His career duties included Commander, Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command, Oceanographer and Navigator of the Navy, and Deputy Assistant Chief of Naval Operations for Information Dominance. He is also a nationally known expert in the field of climate, the Arctic, and National Security.
