Join us on Thursday, November 14th, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in 232 Katz for our Faculty Coffee Chat featuring Professor Herbert Wolfe. Herbert Wolfe is a professor of practice and associate director for Center for Security Research and Education. Wolfe provided over 25 years of service in the U.S. government. He began his federal career as a biological sciences laboratory technician with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA/APHIS). His most recent appointment was working on the National Security Councile (NSC) staff at the White House as the director for medical preparedness policy. Prior to the White House, Wolfe served as the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration's chief audit executive. He was also the senior adviser to the director at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Center for Environmental Health and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry. In addition, he was on active duty in the U.S. Public Health Service as a physican assistant, completing his family medicine residency at the Claremore Indian Hospital in Oklahoma.
