SIA Fall 2020 Orientation

We are excited to welcome you this fall to the Penn State School of International Affairs! Orientation for the SIA Class of 2022 will take place Thursday, August 20, and Friday, August 21. Students will be able to particpate in person or remotely.
Our orientation is an opportunity for you to learn about relevant academic, career, and programmatic information that will aid in your success at SIA, and to continue building relationships with your fellow classmates. Please see below for a full schedule of orientation events and activities.
Note: As this is an official Penn State activity, masks must be worn at all times (including outside) and social distancing must be followed when attending in-person activities on campus.

Shaver's Creek is hosting our orientation activities this day. If you are attending the in-person activities, you must conduct a health self-assessment prior to arrival and sign a contract tracing log during check in. All participants are required to wear a face mask at all times (including outside) and social distancing must be followed. You must bring your own face mask. Wear sturdy footwear (not flip-flops) and casual clothing appropriate for outdoor activities. For more details, including instructions for the health self-assessment, read these instructions from Shaver's Creek. *Please note, if inclement weather occurs, check your email the morning of Friday, August 21 for potential schedule changes. As an alternative rain date, please keep Friday, August 28 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. open in your schedule. |
