SGA/DEI Affinity Group Discussion Series: What Now? A Post-Election Dialogue for BIPOC Students

Date & Time: November 11, 2020 | 03:30 AM – July 16, 2024 | 11:38 AM

Location: Online (Zoom)

Please join SGA and the DEI Student Advisory Group for its first Affinity Group Discussion Series, “What Now? A Post-Election Dialogue for BIPOC Students,” on Tuesday, November 10th at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom. SGA and DEI student leaders wish to promote healthy dialogue and discussion regarding the events following the 2020 Presidential election and provide a safe space for Black, Indigenous, and Students of Color (BIPOC) communities. The goal of this dialogue will be to listen to the student population’s concerns and brainstorm ways in which they can promote a more inclusive and understanding community where traditionally marginalized groups of people feel both physically and emotionally secure in their existence in spaces across campus. For questions, contact the SGA President, Andrea Magaña, at president.sga.sia@gmail.com.
