Date & Time: June 09, 2022 | 02:00 AM – April 25, 2024 | 06:38 AM

Location: Foster Auditorium of the Paterno Library

Penn State Global, along with a co-sponsor from Educational Equity and the Penn State Libraries, are hosting Dr. Chrystal George Mwangi for a university-wide lecture on June 8th from 5:30-7:00 in the Foster Auditorium of the Paterno Library.

Dr. George-Mwangi is an associate professor at George Mason University and a premier scholar in the field of international education and DEI and will be discussing an approach for foregrounding (in)equity in internationalization strategies, international student mobility, international higher education partnerships/research, and education abroad. This research talk will highlight how the process, concept, and construction of internationalization can center or silence the ways universities engage globally.

Light refreshments will be provided.

For any questions regarding the event, please feel free to reach out to me (jfs5948@psu.edu) or to Nate Rufo, vice chair of the DEI Subcommittee (ner17@psu.edu).
