The Penn State Institute for Computational and Data Sciences (ICDS) will be hosting its 2020 symposium, The Date Deluge: Opportunities and Challenges, on March 16 and March 17. This symposium will connect researchers from Penn State and beyond around topics and tools for data management and manipulation, data analytics, data visualization, data integrity, and related topics. By fostering discussions around these issues, ICDS plans to both advance science using interdisciplinary approaches and increase the societal impact of Penn State research.

The Symposium will begin with an industry night and poster session on Monday, March 16, followed by a full day of programming on Tuesday, March 17, that will include several panel discussions, structured small group collaborations, networking opportunities, two keynote addresses, and more.

Tickets for the ICDS Symposium cost $125; however, this fee will be waived for all Penn State faculty, students, and staff. Registration is now open through March 1st. Please click here for more information and registration.
