SIA in Washington

Participate in the Penn State Washington Program!  Offered in Summer and Fall semesters, the program offers full-time internships with Washington-based organizations. Opportunities cover the spectrum of US-government agencies and departments involved with foreign, defense and trade policy, advocacy groups and lobbyists seeking to influence US policy, think-tanks engaged in research across the range of global issues, international monetary and finance institutions, foreign Embassies, and global non-government organizations.

Penn State’s staff in Washington will work with you to determine your interests and relevant skills, critique materials as you craft your applications, and assist in securing high-quality, engaging internships closely related to your SIA studies.  This will be an opportunity to complete your SIA Capstone requirement.
