Courses:
- Students enroll in five classes totaling 15 - 18 U.S. credits
- One two-week intensive Portuguese language course
- One semester Portuguese language course
- Three to four elective courses at the CIEE Study Center faculty (taught in English) and/or at the Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas - Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCSH - UNL) (taught in Portuguese)
- Elective options in Portuguese politics, culture, literature, and history; political economics; European Union; and international affairs
Foreign Language Courses: Portuguese; Required two-week intensive Portuguese class with continued enrollment in a Portuguese class during the semester
Housing: Homestay (breakfast and dinner provided); off-campus dorms (meals not included)
