Description: The scholarship supports students in programs that provide academic and professional preparation for outstanding candidates to enter the U.S. Department of State Foreign Service, representing America's interests abroad. Pickering Fellows are undergraduate and graduate students in academic programs relevant to international affairs, political and economic analysis, administration, management, and science policy. Undergraduates must apply in their Junior year, and will receive funding for their Senior year and the first year of graduate study. Graduate students must apply before commencing graduate studies, and will receive funding for 2 years of their graduate program.
