Belgium: CIEE: Brussels, Business and International Relations

  • Full-time enrollment (15 – 18 credits)
  • Students take a minimum of five English-taught courses at Vesalius College alongside Belgian students
  • Students can replace up to two Vesalius courses by CIEE elective courses or may opt to take the Vesalius College internship in lieu of one course
  • Students with advanced French skills may replace one or two Vesalius courses with regular Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) courses, taught in French
  • Elective courses in Business, Communications, Economics, European Studies, Global Studies, History, International Relations, Journalism, Labor and Employment Relations, Literature, Management, Political Science, Sociology, Statistics, and Telecommunications

Foreign Language Courses: Optional; French (various levels) and Dutch (Beginner)
Housing: Shared off-campus housing and homestays (limited availability)
Academic Calendar: Fall semester (August - December); Spring semester (January - May) 

Internship option: yes; must obtain at least 150 contact hours at the internship site in order to fulfill the SIA Capstone internship requirement
