The Master of International Affairs degree program began soliciting applications in spring 2008 and admitted its first class of students this fall. The current student cohort is comprised of successful applicants from a wide array of backgrounds, interests, and disciplines, representing twenty-one different countries from around the world. Some of our students are recent graduates, others are mid-career professionals and others are concurrently pursuing degrees in another of Penn State's top graduate or professional programs. We intend to increase the entering cohort of students until the class size reaches fifty students per class. If you would like to be a part of this select group and shape the future of the School of International Affairs, we strongly encourage you to apply.

The Master of International Affairs program requires no specific undergraduate degree or course work. Admission will be based on a review of all submitted materials and spaces will be offered to the best of qualified applicants, taking into account academic achievement, relevant work experience, and other indices of aptitude for advanced study in international affairs.
