Nowruz - Persian New Year Celebration

A cultural celebration of Nowruz which marks the first day of the spring equinox and the beginning of the year in the Persian calendar. The celebration will include performances and games to share the Persian culture here at Penn State Law. A central facet of Nowruz celebrations are "Haft Sin," or "the seven S's" in Persian. Participants display seven items (all beginning with "S" in Persian) as symbols of new hopes for the next year.
