An SIA student could be the ideal fit for your organization's internship needs. We encourage prospective employers to contact the Office of International Career Services for assistance with the recruitment process, from posting jobs and internships and arranging resume collections to coordinating on-campus interviews. The Office of International Career Services is pleased to be able to provide specialized services and individual attention to employers.
Employers also have the option of coming to the School of International Affairs to lead an informational session. Informational sessions are an ideal way for students to learn about careers and corporations that may match their career aspirations, education, and specialization. Such presentations may also be followed up with networking or brief interviews in order to best utilize the employers' time. The Katz Building, home to the School of International Affairs as well as the Dickinson School of Law, offers employers the means to conduct interviews from their organization's location through the use of personal "Sony" video-conferencing units which are located in the career services interview rooms.
Employers can also visit SIA and conduct on-site interviews with our talented and diverse pool of students. Employers who have a current internship opening or are interested in setting up such a visit are asked to contact the OICS director at tcunning@psu.edu, or phone the director at (814) 865-3809.
