Employers

The Office of Career Services is pleased to be able to provide specialized services and individual attention to employers.

A School of International Affairs student or graduate could be the ideal fit for your organization's needs. We encourage prospective employers to contact the Office of Career Services for assistance with the recruitment process, from posting jobs and internships to arranging resume collections coordinating on-campus interviews.

Lead an Information Session

Employers also have the option of coming to the School of International Affairs to lead an information session. These sessions are an ideal way for students to learn about careers and corporations that may match their career aspirations, education, and specialization. Such presentations may also be followed with networking or brief interviews in order to best utilize the employers' time.

Conduct Interviews

The Lewis Katz Building, home to the School of International Affairs and Penn State Law, offers employers the means to conduct interviews from their organization's location through the use of personal videoconferencing units located in the career services interview rooms.

Employers can also visit SIA and conduct on-site interviews with our talented and diverse pool of students.

Host a Career Exposure Site Visit

Each year the SIA Career Services office takes groups of students to meet with employers in several cities in proximity to Penn State. The intent of the visits is less to identify specific job opportunities, than it is to expose students to the types of employers likely to be interested in hiring international affairs graduates, and for students to hear directly from employers the types of skills, experiences and qualifications they prioritize in applicants. If you are interested in hosting such a visit, please contact the Career Services office.

If you have a current internship opening or are interested in setting up an information session, interviews, or career site visit, please contact:
